Did some gardening today and spent the rest of the day with my Mum, shopping and doing other jobs around the place which was nice.

Today is the end of my first month of my 365 and its been a lot harder than I imagined. I still don’t feel hugely confident about doing shots in public places which is why a lot of them are done when I’m with my Mum and Dad. However I think over time I will become more confident and I will venture more. Most of all I’m learning a lot and having fun. So thank you to every one who has helped me in my first month!

So today my work day got cut short but I didn’t mind as it meant that I got to spend the rest of the day with my Mum and Dad which I love. And so we ended up going on a big walk in the country and this is where we took todays shot. I have to thank Mum and Dad a lot for helping me so much when I’m doing this and generally putting up with me whilst I do it. Thanks guys!

So I already had an idea for what to do with todays image and I had a few taken already but had a feeling that something would pop up and may be more interesting. I waited and waited and then the heavens opened……As the rain came down, my mum and dad thought that having me stand out in it would be funny. And as you can see some laughing did go on. And look, I’m smiling……..

Today’s shot comes from Newcastle as I had a job interview there this morning. So I decided to make a day of it and me and Ellie went trough sea early and spent the day there. Had a lovely day with her which I have to thank her for and got a picture that I really liked. Oh and the job….

Today has been busy day of work and stuff and I’ve been quite tired. I’m sat watching The King’s Speech now whilst browsing the internet. I need to get out of the habit of waiting until the end of the day to take my picture as the last few haven’t been so creative, So I hope tomorrows will be an earlier one. Home. It always has been. I have lived at number 39 Swaledale Avenue all my life until I went to University and I will always love this building and consider it to be my home. It is filled with wonderful memories of me and my family and I love being back home with my mum and dad, their the real reason this has always been a happy home. Thanks.

This one was my dad’s idea. I wanted to do a shot through my letterbox today and that was the idea all day until I got home and realised that it wouldn’t work since there are bristles that separate the front and the back and wouldn’t allow me to shoot. So in a way this is a bit of a cop out. My Dad thought of it as an imitation of Harry Worth who was a comedian. I wanted to try it with a mirror but this kind of gives it my own vibe. Any way I promise tomorrow will be better.

So heres number 18! I would firstly like to say sorry that so far the majority of my images have been done in the day time in rural, country areas but whilst I am back home in Darlington and I have access to a car then I can go to nice rural places, whereas when I’m back in Lincoln I won’t be able drive to places so then i take take shots around the city. This applies for the daylight idea. Whilst its light through the day I will use the available light. Whereas as when I’m back in Lincoln during winter when its darker I’ll shoot more at night. Anyway heres me at Reeth!

Happy Fathers Day! So today I spent the day with Mum and Dad tracking down the Olympic Torch in my area which was fun and got to see it twice. This one was a bit rushed but has a bit of meaning behind it. Today it has been 13 years since my gran passed away and The tree in the image is one we planted when she died, to remember her by. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her or any other member of the family that isn’t here now. The plant wasn’t meant to grow any taller than a metre and as you can see it gone a bit further than that. This is just my way of saying I miss you and I hope your proud of me.
